COVID-19 Business continuity at Sumitomo Electric Europe Ltd (SEEL)

The COVID-19 virus situation has affected us all – both personally and economically. As a company, we have taken the necessary measures to remain fully operational in order to guarantee the continuity of our support and services whilst continuing to follow government guidelines.

All of our SEEL teams are working from home except the Service Team who are working in the Service Centre.

The Service team are working on a rota basis whilst still maintaining social distancing. Maintenance and repairs are now going ahead, but may take longer than usual, due to the previous service centre closure and catching up on any backlog of work.

As always, support is available via telephone and email.

Processes are still in place to ensure that we maintain business continuity:
• Our people have all necessary equipment to work remotely and access our network.

• If you call the office number you should still be able to reach us. However, the fastest way to contact us is via email.

• Our main phone number gives you the opportunity to leave a voicemail. If you do, we will respond accordingly

• Where you need to share hard copy documentation with us, it is best to scan or digitally photograph it and send it to us electronically please. If it is essential to post something please be aware it may take a little longer for us to respond than normal. If you believe you have sent something in the post to us and we have not responded, please call or email us.

The Company will continue with the current working arrangement until 30th June. This will then be reviewed along with UK Government guidelines regarding the Lockdown.

In the meantime, please feel free to email us at any time. We have put these plans in place to keep our people safe, while continuing to deliver the high-quality service you are used to during this period.

Finally, and most importantly, we hope you, your families and loved ones stay safe and healthy.
