Pureflex Patchcords
Pureflex patchcords are designed for use in FTTx applications to make the connection between the fibre optic wall outlet in the customer’s house and their media converter. They have obvious applications in any situation where a rugged and bend resistant cord is needed to carry and optical signal.
The Pureflex cord is made with Sumitomo Pure Access single-mode fibre which can withstand a 15mm bend radius with no loss of signal. The cord has a special jacket which prevents it being bent to <15mm radius and the cord is terminated with SC connectors. The outer diameter of the cord is 5mm.
