Sumitomo heat sink materials provide high performance thermal management with high thermal conductivity matched with low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and low dielectric constant. Applications include microwave components and optoelectric semiconductor technologies.
Today, Copper Tungsten ( CuW ), Copper Molybdenum (CuMo), Aluminium Nitride Ceramics ( AlN ), CVD Diamond ( Chemical Vapour Deposited Diamond ), Sumicrystal ( Synthetic Single Crystal Diamond Type 1b), and DMCH ( Diamond Metal Composite for Heatsink ) are all available from Sumitomo Electric.
Sumitomo Electric is the worlds’ largest maker of Ni foam for rechargeable batteries, filters and catalyst support materials.
