Sumitomo's MPO connector is a multi-fibre connector for high
density optical interconnects. The MPO has simple push / pull
latching, with ferrule alignment made by precision guide pins.
- Design to JIS C 5981 & IEC86B/1754-5/Ed.1 assuring compatibility.
- Compliant to Telecordia GR1435.
- Industry-proven interconnect system supported by over 15 years
of Sumitomo experience in MT ferrule technology.
- Available with 4, 8, 12 and now 24 fibre channel count.
- Standard, low loss & super low loss grades of connector.
- Applicable to both single-mode and multi-mode fibres.
- Termination of bare ribbon, ribbon cord and multiple 900um
