Cleavers
Uniquely, Sumitomo cleavers are available with a choice of a manually adjustable blade or an automatically rotating blade.
The automatically rotating blade removes the need for frequent cleaver adjustment in the field, thus saving time and increasing productivity.
The FC-6 is a traditional bench top cleaver, simple and easy to use. It is available with, or without, a fibre offcut collector
The FC-7 is a one-step handy cleaver, originally designed for aerial splicing work. All FC-7 cleavers have an off-cut collector inside the cleaver body.

- FC-6S-C Bench top cleaver with offcut collector, manual blade adjustment, single fibre
- FC-6M-C Bench top cleaver with offcut collector, manual blade adjustment, up to 12 fibre ribbon

- FC-6RS-C Bench top cleaver with offcut collector, automatically rotating blade, single fibre
- FC-7M-F8 Hand held cleaver with offcut collector, manual blade adjustment, up to 8 fibre ribbon
- FC-7R-F Hand Held cleaver with offcut collector, automatically rotating blade, up to 8 fibre ribbon
All cleavers can be used with a loose hand held fibre or with fibres in Sumitomo fibre holders.
