FHS-25 and FHS-09 are for use with the T-25eS and T-25eM, for splicing single fibres.
The FHM holders are for splicing two core and four core ribbons on a T-25eM.
The FHM-2A and FHM-4A include a 3M Trizact ®
coating to increase the holders' grip on the ribbon, and reduce problems caused by slippery ribbons.
The colour LCD on the T25e can be adjusted to avoid glare, it's easier than moving the whole splicer.
The T-25 family of micro-splicers are designed for fibre to the home (FTTH or FTTx) or LAN/datacom use,
or for splicing anywhere that light weight, ease of use and portability are important. The unique T-25 shape
& small size allow you to place the splicer very close to the work area; letting you splice short fibre
lengths or work in confined spaces.
Following successful use of several thousand original T-25 micro-splicers in FTTx build programs throughout
the world, the T-25 has been improved, and evolved into the T-25e. The T-25e retains much of the DNA of the
original T-25 but also includes many improvements ...
- The battery can be recharged while it's inside the T-25e splicer body.
- Power consumption has been reduced, giving a longer useful life per charge of the battery.
- Maintenance is reduced since the LEDs now illuminate the fibre from directly above.
The T-25e family still includes features to help keep splicing economical, ergonomic and easy...
- A bright white LED illuminates the v-grooves for easy loading of the fibres in poor light.
- A choice of fibre handling for single fibre splicing: either fibre holders or
traditional coating clamps.
- The ability to splice loose buffer secondary coated fibre with a 20mm cleave length.
This means that a loose buffer to loose buffer splice can be protected in a normal 60mm
sleeve.Maintenance is reduced since the LEDs now illuminate the fibre from directly above.
... and the T-25e is fully compliant with the EU RoHS regulations.
The T-25e uses Sumitomo's Arc Test function to automatically optimise the arc power for the working
environment and the fibres to be spliced. All usual pre-splice checks of the fibre end are made before
splicing, and on completion of the splice the T-25e displays the estimated loss and makes a 200g proof
test.
The T-25 software is available in many European languages; contact us to find out more.
